A histological method for marine invertebrates

This study aimed to increase knowledge about the structure and health assessment for evaluating histopathology as a biomarker of marine invertebrates, which must have high-quality histologic slides. Unfortunately, accuracy this method has been specifically modified invertebrates in Thailand; we demonstrated permanent histological slides, including Xestospongia sp., Halobates hayanus, Amphibalanus amphitrite, Alpheus sp. (n = 30) individual specimens each species) from Libong island, Thailand, was compared standard method. Optimization tissue adapts troubleshoots typical procedures, sample collection, fixation with 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin at 2-4 °C 24 hrs., decalcification, dehydration, clearing, embedding sectioning, examining after staining under procedures time, can be accomplished easily six days. Compared method, protocol showed first report. It warranted slide scans, are particularly ideal tissue, cell, nuclei-specific features invertebrates.
